I always try to focus on street photography in my blog, but today I have to make an exception. Yesterday's The Dø show in Helsinki was so impressive, that I just have to dedicate one day for this band.

Yesterday on my way to Helsinki I decided to give a lift to a hitchhiker, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. This guy, Guido, was a photographer from Italy. We had plenty of stories to share and without even noticing became friends while approaching Helsinki. I hope I'll meet him again some day.

Huoh, that's it. It was my last day at summer job today. The school will start again on Monday, which means that the summer is now officially over. Luckily I still have some holidaying to do as I'm going to Spain on next Thursday.

I'm tired, but tomorrow is the last day at work for me before the school starts again. It'll ease quite a lot after that. The quality of hellojere has been quite crummy lately, but I have an excuse, that hopefully opens up to you later this year.

I'm pretty much living the time now that determines what the rest of my life's going to be like. So I really need work a lot to achieve the life I'm dreaming of...

I often feel superbly tired, but I've never fallen asleep during a coffee break with my friend. These guys managed to do that, so I guess I'm not the most tired person in the world after all.

I believe this image reflects my day quite well. I went to the work with a super sour face, pretty much like the girl on the left has. But just a few positive turn ups later I was laughing and wondering why I sometimes let little thing bother me that much. This one's from a protest against Tibet in Berlin.

The auguries were right again. I had such a zesty weekend that now my expressions are imitating the constant changes of the battle between thoughts from tomorrow and yesterday.

Saturdays are somehow magical. Almost everyone's feeling sick in the morning, but when the day turns to night, we're at our best again. Weird, isn't it?

Last few weekends have been truly unforgettable for me, so my expectations are quite high again. At least tonight is going to be superb, because The Millioners is perfoming live at Klubi later on.

When you're busy it's quite hard to keep everything cleaned up all the time. And if it gets dirty enough the cleaning progress takes remarkably longer than normally. It would be so much easier if I'd learn not to worry about the mess this much.

Are you getting forward when you traipse your way down the stairs or are you just slowly dropping lower and lower on every step?

No matter how good your life is, it's not always easy to think about the bright sides of it. That's why I admire people who can smile even when the times are hard.

Today I've felt old and lonely while my brains been at the level of a monkey. But don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with today, I just had an unbelievable weekend that makes these typical weekdays feel really boring.

The things I hate the most in Sundays are the Mondays after them, the thoughts of the super-early wake up and the far too long cycle trip to work on the next day. Fortunately there's only two weeks left before the schools starts again.

Couple days ago we realized that our generation has finally began to understand the importance of free time. Think about it for a second, what's the point of owning an expensive car if you only have time to use it for commuting?

I'm tired, but luckily there's no time to think about that today. A lot of my Turku friends are coming here to Helsinki to participate the Flow Festival. I just hope everyone survives back to home after this weekend.

Today I'm heading towards Helsinki where Flow Festival starts tomorrow. The artist lineup is truly amazing including one of my favorite musicians ever, Erlend Øye, who's performing with Eirik Glambek Bøe in Kings of Convenience. Saturday's already sold out, but there's still some tickets for tomorrow.

Every once in a while I take a look into the past and wonder if I have chosen the right path after all. Fortunately after a few seconds I'm always ready to turn my head towards the future again.

It's been amazingly hard for me to smile today. Fortunately some good friends of mine are coming here soon, as if they weren't, I'd probably call my old mate Tapio to find that smile I'm used to.

A couple more days like this and I'm an angry old men. If anyone sees this bike anywhere in Helsinki, feel free to rip the riders balls off and knock a mail to [email protected].

When a Saturday night includes dancing, swimming, a broken windshield, angry neighbors, lots of laughing and one bleeding nipple it usually is a memorable night.

I hate the fact that modern society expects you to be reachable where ever you are. It's becoming more and more justified to be angry if someone has switched off their mobile phone with no reason. Lately I've thought about buying another phone just for the calls that are important for myself.

I easily understand how hard it is to say no for alcohol when it's been the only life you've had for years. What I can't understand is not being able to say negative things to your friends when needed. Minor things can turn into pissy situations if you can't be outspoken.

At a really early age we learn to have arms wide open constantly next to us. But it's not until much later you understand its importance, how it affects on your happiness and carries you through every bad situation.

Life is nothing but waiting, so you definitely need to have a good patience to get through it. Two weeks ago I wanted to finish one project quickly and I ended up killing my neck. Where was my patience back then?

It's extremely annoying to walk a path where your mind goes up and down all the time. I'm sure it's the upcoming darkness that's already affecting me. No matter how much I try to deny it, there's just far too little sunshine in Finland for me.

Dealing with frustration while waiting on a line is fairly easy, just step aside and leave when you're done. It's much harder when there's no other solution than struggling through each and every minute.

Sundays are made for contemplating, figuring out who you are and what you really want from life. I haven't had any time for Sunday thinking lately, so am I in the dark of my self now?

Imagine a moment you'd have to look perfect, would you be more worried of your glasses or your hair? Fortunately I'm lucky enough to have only one option.

It's amazing, how important other human beings can become in life and how you only understand their importance when they're not around you.
